Citadel of Insanity Guide There are 4 bosses in the Citadel of Insanity instance and a Secret Chest: Glacieus Cresaphin Skylla Corrupted Kondraum Secret Chest Glacieus Essential abilities: None Strategy: Mechanics:  Frost Strike: Emote "Glacieus prepares to throw a frozen spike at [player]!" This player should pick up a frozen core before getting hit. If hit, player is stunned and takes damage over time. Can be cleansed(?)  Deepice Armor: Buff on boss, reduces incoming damage to 0. Drag boss into a gyser to remove this.  Boiling Mad: Gyser gives stacks of this buff to the boss, increasing outgoing damage. Get him out of gysers ASAP.  Frost Elemental Adds: These drop Frost Cores when killed. Use Frost Core to prevent Frost Strike.  Tanks:  * Face boss away from group  * Kite boss into a gyser when he gets Deepice Armor. Move him back out ASAP.  * Pick up Frozen Cores to prevent getting hit by Frost Strike.  Healers:  * Pick up Frozen Cores to prevent getting hit by Frost Strike.  * Stay behind boss  DPS:  * Pick up Frozen Cores to prevent getting hit by Frost Strike.  * Kill Frost Elemental adds to get Frozen Cores  * Stay behind boss Alternate Strategy 2 healers, 2 strong st dps. Boss is stationary and attacks random players.  Mechanics:  Poisonous Fumes: Uncleansable stacking debuff cast on random player. Deals damage every 3 seconds. Break eggs that spawn and pick up the drop to remove.  Encased: Random player will get encased. Click on the player to break them free.  Growing Strength: Stacking buff that increases Cresaphin's outgoing damage by 5% every 20 seconds.  Chitinous Shielding: Cresaphin casts a shield on himself and begins to heal. Burn the shield and interrupt the heal.  Tanks:  * No tank needed, go DPS  Healers:  * AoE healing spec recommended  DPS:  * Free other players from Encased  * Kill eggs and pick up drop to cleanse Poisonous Fumes  * Burn boss's shield then interrupt heal  Back to top     Loot Table * Click header to sort  **This is a partial loot table. Kill the Summoning Spires to remove stacks.  Mechanics:  Fuel Nightmare: The boss channels and opens a portal. Kill the active Summoning Spire. While the portal is open, or if he finishes the channel and the portal has not been killed, he gains a stacking buff that heals him 1% every 0.7 seconds.  Arresting Contagion: Deals damage to anyone moving. Purge this ASAP.  Fractured Reality: Red AoE around the boss, with safe zone either in or out. Run to the boss when outer circle is red, run out when inner circle is red.  Infectious Bile: Stuns and spawns adds at the target. Interrupt this.  All or Nothing: Deals damage to target based on his health. Burn him to below 10% or tank will get killed.  *Note: Tank can run behind the blue orb and will not get hit by All or Nothing  Tanks:  * Purge Arresting Contagion  * Pick up adds  * Hide behind blue orb during All or Nothing  Healers:  * Purge Arresting Contagion  DPS:  * Kill active Summoning Spires  * Keep boss under 10% health for All or Nothing  * Purge Arresting Contagion  * Interrupt Infectious Bile  Back to top     Loot Table * Click header to sort  **This is a partial loot table. Kite him away from these.  Torrent of Pain: Purple AoE pulsing from the tank. Stay out of this.  Corruption of Lord Arak: Buff on the boss. Kill adds to remove stacks and increase damage to the boss.  Internalized Organ: Buff on the boss. Have the tank pull and kite this mob. Recommended to have speed buffs on (insoles/bard buff). If the mob reaches the tank, it will one shot him. DPS the mob quickly (5 million HP). This is a timed event. I'm not sure which timer is correct, I've seen 2 theories.
