There are 5 bosses Return to Empyrean Core:
*Note: The boss fights are very similar to the Expert Empyrean Core (lvl 60 instance).
Essential abilities: Interrupt
Strategy:The first boss in Return to Empyrean Core. Almost identical to Expert Empyrean Core.
Mechanics: Manic Assault: Short cast, then pulls in the player furthest from him and stuns them, dealing massive damage. Interruptable.
Ground AoE (X Pattern): Splits the room (centralized on him) into 4 quarters, 2 are safe (not red) and 2 are not (red zones), always opposite each other. Position flips, so stand near the edge of the safe zone and move into the other zone when it switches. Must move quickly.
Bombs: The boss teleports to the wall, and places bombs. You only have a few seconds to LoS the bombs using the center column. He repeats this 3 times.
Spur Growth: Baird summons a flower. The flower grows and begins to cast Lifegrip. Burn the flower before it completes the cast.
Tanks: * Tank the boss near the center column
* Interrupt Manic Assault
Healers: * Nothing special, just heal
DPS: * Burn the flower down quickly before it finishes casting Lifegrip

Essential abilities: None
Strategy:Strauz and Mercutial. Strauz is tankable, Mercutial is not. Tank Strauz near (but not on top of) Mercutial. Kill Strauz then Mercutial.
Mechanics: Siphoning Vortex: Strauz pulls everyone to him. This is not interruptable in Return to Empyrean Core (it was in Expert Empyrean Core). This is why it's important to tank him near Mercutial, since this is cast right before the purple safe zone.
Draining Field: Strauz cast a red AoE circle around him. Kite him around, placing these circles so the group can still get to the purple safe zone.
Murmuring Incantation: Emote calls out random player name, that player must LoS behind Strauz.
Purging Shot: Cast on a random player. A yellow bubble forms around that player which removes Draining Fields. Also purges stacks (of something?).
Slow Burn and Stunning Strike: Mercutial casts Slow Burn (5 target DoT) while Strauz casts Stunning Strike. Tank Strauz on top of Mercutial while this is being cast to interrupt Slow Burn.
Tanks: * Tank Strauz near but not on Mercutial
* Kite Strauz to drop Draining Fields, make sure party can get to purple
Healers: * Get to purple circle
* LoS Mercutial with Struaz if you get Murmuring Incantation
DPS: * LoS Mercutial with Struaz if you get Murmuring Incantation

Essential abilities: None
Strategy:The Doctor starts the fight immune to damage. A water elemental (one at a time) will randomly spawn. Drag it to the Doctor and kill it to temporarily disable his immunity. DPS the boss while he isn't immune. Rinse and repeat.
Mechanics: Adds: 3 small and 1 large add spawn. The Doctor throws an elixir at a random player, and the small adds chase that player (immune to taunt, that player must kite them). Tank should pick up large add.
Lightning: Red AoE bubbles around the room, deals damage to players.
Purple AoE: Purple AoE circles around the room that prevent movement (including the adds). Kite the adds through these puddles (don't get stuck yourself!)
*Note: The tank is able to pick up all of the adds that the Doc spawns. Taunt didn't seem to work but damaging the mobs got em to switch. (Thanks Enepttastic!)
Tanks: * Pick up large adds
* Pick up water elementals and bring to the boss
Healers: * Kite small adds around the room, using purple puddles as needed
* Avoid lightning
DPS: * Kite small adds around the room, using purple puddles as needed
* Avoid lightning
* Do not kill water elementals until they are under the boss

Essential abilities: None
Strategy:Cor replaces the event from Expert Empyrean Core.
Mechanics: Radiation: AoE around the boss. Everyone (including the tank) needs to kite him. May drop threat after this, so the tank should taunt him back. If the tank taunts just before this cast completes, he will not chase other players.
Alter Force: Stuns and Knockback on party
Frenzy: When he's near death, he will cast Frenzy. Cor will have an AoE damage circle around him and charge random players and stun them.
* Note: During Frenzy, the best method is to all stack up in the AoE circle (melee range). The group will take damage, but he will not charge/stun anyone so you can burn him quickly.
Tanks: * Kite the boss constantly during Radiation
* Be ready to taunt afterwords
Healers: * Stack up during Frenzy
* A mobile healing spec is recommended
DPS: * Ranged is better for this fight
* Stack up during Frenzy

Strategy:Last boss in Return to Empyrean Core.
Mechanics: Growing Corruption: AoE placed under the tank. Need to kite boss to avoid damage.
Vitality Leech: Places a DoT on the target. This is interruptable.
Wrath of the Beastlord: A large cleave aimed at the tank. Will explode cores around the room if it hits them.
Radiating Presence: Blind, turn around when he is casting this
Pestilent Elixir: Places a DoT on the target. Cleanseable.
Trample: Knocks everyone back against the wall. He targets a random person and charges. Run away from that spot, and he will be stunned for a few seconds when he hits the wall. Takes more damage when stunned?
Tanks: * Kite the boss to avoid ground AoE
* Keep him clear of cores when he cleaves.
* May need to taunt after Trample
* Interrupt Vitality Leech
